VOLUNTEERING AT FINSBURY PARK TRACK

As you are probably all aware, our wonderful track at Finsbury Park is managed by Finsbury Park Sports Partnership (FPSP), which is run almost entirely by volunteers. Long-standing Heathside members Adrian Essex and Mike Hickey have recently been elected to FPSP's Board of Trustees, the latter as Chairman.

Junior Training over Christmas

The last Junior training session will be Sunday 19th December and will restart on 9th January 2022

Juniors in specific coaching groups should check with their Coach if they are making any special arrangements over the Christmas period.

The track and gym will continue to be available to Seniors at the normal times

Stop Seyfu Jamaal facing persecution in Ethiopia

If the Home Office has its way, then 21-year-old Seyfu Jamaal will be deported back to war-ravaged Ethiopia because his asylum application has been rejected. It is no exaggeration to say that his physical and mental well-being are at risk if Priti Patel’s department succeeds. He is currently appealing against this decision, arguing that it is not safe for him to return.
