welfare & Schools

You put your trust in us to look after your child while they’re training with us. We don’t underestimate that responsibility and we work with parents, coaches and the young athletes as a team to create a safe and supportive environment. We also have two dedicated welfare officers – Ruth Miller and Russell Weston

London Heathside follows the welfare and safeguarding policies of England Athletics and UKA.(2024)

Coaching:

All our coaches are DBS checked and sign up to our coaches' code of conduct. Take a look at our coaches page to see a who’s who and find out a bit more about them. 

Information for schools:

We’re on the look-out for local schools with budding athletes we can help and support. If you have anyone in mind, please point them in our direction. And if you have more than a handful of youngsters keen to get involved, get in touch.
