Half marathon heaven and club records smashed

Also causing great excitement was the Highgate Harriers Night of the 10,000 PBs held at Parliament Hill track, with Adam just missing first place in the final lap.  There was also impressive times in Brathay Windermere Half, Richmond Park Marathon and Eton Dorney Triathlon.

It was a massively exciting racing weekend, with events in all shapes and sizes - including the first of the big Spring marathons - Paris - and some great results there, as well as in the many half marathons: Reading, Richmond, Berlin, Wilmslow, Whitehorse and Warwick half marathons, the Orion 15, Regents Park and Stockholm 10Ks, the under 13 and 15s Lee Valley Pentathlon, Lowestoft 5 and Masters Athletics, to name a few. And this weekend also saw the club championship time for 10 miles spectacularly smashed by Tom Aldred for the 10 mile distance, when he won the Sri Chinmoy 10 in Battersea.
