A Group are taking part in a BRIC (bike-run) session at 8:00am on Sunday, 6th June in Regent's Park.

There will be a ride for an hour and run for 30 minutes at the track on the north side.

Veterans' Athletics at London Heathside

London Heathside have a very active and successful veterans section which are looking to recruit new members to their team.

Vets are defined as anyone over the age of 35, also known as Veterans or Masters Athletes.

Our fixtures this year are all on Monday evenings starting at 6:30 and not too far away:

Covid-19 - Return of Club Activities

For hopefully the last time England Athletics have now issued their roadmap to the return of Athletics Competition and Club Activities.

The Club will discuss these at the next Committee Meeting on 1st March and issue a statement how we propose to recommence training and other activities.

Covid-19 - All Club Training Suspended

Unfortunately, we again have to suspend all coaching due to the Government Lockdown Restrictions.

The Government requires all Outdoor Sports Facilities to close so Finsbury Park Track will be shut until further notice.

The Club Coaches are looking at ways to keep their Groups active whether with virtual training sessions or personal training schedules.

Covid-19 - Tier 4 Restrictions

Sadly London has been placed in a new Tier 4 from Midnight Saturday 19th until Wednesday 30th December with Government advice to Stay Home unless unavoidable.

While this means indoor Gyms and sports facilities will have to close Outdoor Facilities can remain open for individual, family Group or 1 to 1 exercise.

However U18’s are still permitted to take part in Organised Group Outdoor Sport.

It has been agreed to suspend Club Training for the Seniors until the New Year. However some Junior Training will continue over the Christmas Holidays albeit with smaller groups and increased Hygene and Social Distancing protocols.

Covid-19 - London in Tier 3

London will move from Tier 2 to Tier 3 on Wednesday 16th December 2020

For clarity we can confirm there are no impacts on the Clubs training sessions unless you live in a Tier 2 area in which case you should not travel to a Tier 3 area for recreation.

Please do not socialise before and after and leave as soon as your session has finished.

Covid-19 - Re-commencement of Club Activities

Sport England and England Athletics have confirmed that Club activities can re-commence as they were before lockdown from Wednesday 2nd December.

Training will start at the track again next Thursday, Zac’s Open on Friday 5th December and the London Youth Games races for Juniors on 5th and 6th are now confirmed as taking place.

Covid-19 - Suspension of Club Activities

Club Activity will restart on 2nd December 2020.

In line with new Government Restrictions in place from 5th November 2020 until 2nd December 2020 and following England Athletics Guidance all Club activities and training have been suspended.

There are no sessions planned at Finsbury Park Track during this time.

COVID-19 - Club Update (23rd September)

The Club can confirm that the latest changes to restrictions due to Covid-19 will not impact the Club’s training or group running activities.

Club Chairman Jerry Odlin had released the following statement on 10th September:-
