Senior Women EA Marathon Team Champions
Tuesday’s training session had added bling with our Senior Women’s team of Rebecca Bunting, Rebecca Piggott and Sarah Swinhoe presented by Club Chairman Jerry Odlin with their gold medals as National Team Marathon Champions. The Championships was held as part of the London Marathon, with Rebecca Bunting the 9th women in 2:41.1 (a club Record), Rebecca Piggott was 20th in 2:45.4 and Sarah Swinhoe 67th in 2:51.4 a club V50 record.
Elsewhere Helena Stone recorded a new 100m PB and James Hurrell was 4th in the last friday of the month race in Hyde Park.
